Help Children with Change, Loss and Grief
January 30, 7-9 p.m., Hope Lutheran Church, 5728 Cedar Ave S, Minneapolis
Children experience change and loss through death, divorce, disasters, disability and disappointments. This forum will equip and enable parents to help children and teens with the grieving process.
We’ll explore the following topics:

• What is grief?
• How do developmental stages influence a child’s response to loss?
• How can parents keep the lines of communication open?
•  How can families create meaningful rituals and memorials?
