The focus is to train youth and adult leaders who equip and empower peer ministers who use their caring, welcoming ministry skills everyday, everywhere & in every relationship. Cost: $225 first adult; $100 for additional adults; $30 for youth. Registration information>>

Celebration of Compassion: Nuts about NETS!
November 10, 6:00-6:30 p.m. pre-event; 6:30-8:00 p.m. main event, Central Lutheran Church, Minneapolis
Plan to journey into a Celebration of Compassion, and encounter the stories of those living with the threat and consequences of malaria on a daily basis. Open some gates as we educate, inspire and equip youth to be active participants in the Lutheran Malaria Initiative. All are welcome: youth ministry leaders, their confirmation students AND high school students are urged to attend, AND are encouraged to bring along parents, small group leaders, committee members, pastors, and more! Extravaganza 2011
January 20-24, Hyatt Regency Crown Center, Kansas City, MO.
The Extravaganza is an annual 4-day conference that draws together anywhere from 500-750 adults who work with youth in congregations of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America for the premier renewal, education and networking event of our church. It is for the professional and the volunteer. It is for the old and the young. It is for the urban, the suburban and the rural It is for pastors, it is for laypeople. It is for all who share in the adventure we call youth and family ministry. The Extravaganza is put on by the ELCA Youth Ministry Network.
