Organist/Accompanist - Crown of Glory

is a growing worship community of 900 members and is seeking a
part-time organist/accompanist to begin as early as summer 2009.
(Start date is flexible depending upon candidate’s
availability). Candidate should not only have strong musical
skills, but also possess a great sense of creativity,
independence to some degree, knowledge and understanding of or a
willingness to learn the Lutheran LBW/ELW liturgy, comfort in
leading congregational singing through the organ, and high
energy. Core Responsibilities: Serve as organist for the
traditional worship service at 8:15 a.m. as well as additional
special services throughout the year, such as Christmas and
Easter. The organist will also be on call for funerals and
weddings. As accompanist, they will be responsible to assist the
Chancel Choir from late August through May and accompany the
