The Contemporary Worship Leader will plan worship for all worship services in collaboration with pastor(s) and worship planning team; provide worship leadership that will enable the gathered assembly to glorify God, experience rich fellowship in Christian community, and grow as disciples of Jesus Christ; lead weekly worship service (10:30 a.m.) and other seasonal worship services;recruit, train and direct worship team(s) in weekly worship and rehearsals; provide oversight for worship technology and worship technology team; have a passion for spreading the gospel through engaging worship; have demonstrated vocal and instrumental (keyboard and/or acoustic guitar) leadership skills; have 3-5 years of experience in worship and music leadership in a congregational setting; have a bachelor’s degree in music or a related field; possess competence in using worship and music technology, including sound, video, projection and lighting equipment and worship media including PowerPoint.
